Who we are
This policy explains how Universa Technologies ("Universa", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through universatechnologies.org and when you contact us about our services.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form or email us we collect your name, work email, company, team size and whatever you choose to write in your message.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request. We use these for security and to keep the site working. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare quotes, provide services you sign up for, keep the site secure and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business. These include our website host and form processor (Netlify), which also receives assessment requests and email signups, our email provider and software we use to manage customer relationships. They may use it only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Client data in our services
When we manage devices, accounts or systems for a client we may have access to that client's data. We handle it under our service agreement with the client. This policy covers our website and sales contacts only.
Cookies
The site uses only cookies that are strictly needed for it to function. If we add analytics later we will update this page and provide any choices the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, generally no more than two years if you do not become a client. Client records are kept for the length of the relationship plus any period required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information and to opt out of certain processing. Email us to make a request. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
Our site and services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
